Ce r\u00e8glement a r\u00e9duit la dose maximale autoris\u00e9e \u00e0 moins de 3 mg\/jour et a int\u00e9gr\u00e9 une s\u00e9rie de mises en garde sur l&rsquo;\u00e9tiquetage des compl\u00e9ments alimentaires contenant cet ingr\u00e9dient. Par cons\u00e9quent, l&rsquo;all\u00e9gation de sant\u00e9 approuv\u00e9e par l&rsquo;EFSA, qui \u00e9tait jusqu&rsquo;alors autoris\u00e9e pour les compl\u00e9ments alimentaires contenant 10 mg\/jour de monacoline K \u2013 La monacoline K de la levure de riz rouge contribue au maintien d\u2019une cholest\u00e9rol\u00e9mie normale \u2013 n&rsquo;est plus valable.
